Stephanie provides individual counseling to 18+ adults. She has experience working with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, substance use, chronic illness, grief, stress, self-esteem issues, relationship issues, pregnancy/postpartum, career development, life transitions, faith and spirituality, and religious trauma.
Stephanie earned a Master of Arts degree (2023) in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regent University, where she graduated with honors and was a member of Chi Sigma Iota honors society. She received a Bachelor of Science degree (2002) in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Christian Theology from Belmont University. She is currently in the process of becoming certified in Spiritually Integrated Therapy through the Samaritan Institute and is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC).
Stephanie takes an existential-integrative approach to therapy, utilizing techniques from such modalities as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, art therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction. Stephanie enjoys helping clients discover their personal values, identify strengths and resources, develop new coping skills, and create more meaningful lives.
