DONOR ADVISED FUNDS

Samaritan accepts donations directly from Donor Advised Funds (DAFs).

Please speak to your financial advisor or institution and give them Samaritan’s EIN number: 59-3457923.

Please note that DAFs cannot be used to pay for event-related payments such as tickets or sponsorships.

GIVE FROM YOUR IRA

If you are aged over 70 1/2 and have an IRA, you can make a tax-free Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) to Samaritan.

If you are aged over 73 and subject to Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs), you can use a QCD to reduce the size of your RMD and optimize the tax benefits of giving.

SECURITIES (STOCKS)

Samaritan accepts the direct donation of securities (such as stocks), which can generate an additional saving of capital gains tax when compared to liquidating the stocks and donating the proceeds.
