Nathan was born and raised in southern Michigan. He played football and earned his bachelor’s degree from Ferris State University. He taught high school biology and coached football for 7 years in Michigan. Nathan built a successful business marketing health and wellness products for the next 10 years. After significant life changes, Nathan felt called to use his gifting in teaching, coaching, and leadership to help people as a Christian counselor. He earned his MA in Mental Health through Cornerstone University and has experience working with couples and adult individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, relational conflicts, substance abuse, among many other issues. Nathan provides counseling out of United Presbyterian Church (formerly Palma Sola Presbyterian) in North West Bradenton.
