Many thanks to Heritage Oaks Golf and Country Club for all their efforts. The staff made sure we were on the course quickly and efficiently. Everyone had a great time at the event.

Women of Compassion Helping Women in Need

Women Helping Women
APRIL 23 , 2009
The 6th annual luncheon was attended by more than 270 guests. Almost $50,000 was raised to partially fund the Women Helping Women Program providing affordable counseling to women and children in need.
For the past three years, the Buchanan Family Foundation has underwritten the cost of the luncheon so that all funds raised go to helping families in need. More than 60% of people seeking counseling help are women. Many times these women are especially vulnerable financially due to the realities of divorce and single parenthood.
The date is already set for a fun event at Michaels' on East on April 22 , 2010.
